 I've seen a lot of these on DPC and have always wanted to try one. This was my first attempt, so I'm not really expecting this to do all that well.

I set the camera on a tripod and tried to get it as level as I could. I had the lens zoomed out to 70mm and placed this wine glass on the other end of our dining room table. Behind the table I put my SB-600 on my daughter's play chair and aimed at the wall. I think the flash was zoomed out to 70mm as well and the power was at 1/4. I used a Rosco Gel (Daffodil) on the flash to get the yellow color.

The flash was triggered using a household cable and Wein adapter. I fired a few test shots off to get the exposure I wanted and then started playing around. I used the self-timer and just guessed when to pour the water. I took about 10 shots in all and this was the last one.

- Basic RAW adjustments (brightness, white balance etc.)
- Cropped
- Cloned out a few sensor dust spots
- Sharpened
- Curves
- Hue/Saturation
- Resized for DPC
- Sharpened again
- Save for Web

I love this, especially the splash at the bottom. It's yellow without being lifeless.
