First, thanks Pedro for the idea for this. That shot was brilliant, and I hope mine does it justice.
Alright, this was not the most fun to shoot, we just got a good snow fall, but it was the wet heavy snow. I built a little mound to have the flower sticking out of, and then laid down to take the shot. Tried many angles and exposures in order to get what I was looking for. After I got inside (soaking wet), it was time to go to work.
PP was simple. First I converted from RAW, boosting the exposure and warming the picture up, as the white balance from the camera did not do it justice. Then Photoshop was just levels, curves, crop, resize, USM, and save for web. Really quite a simple edit, but it worked.
This was alot simpler than my other ideas, so hopefully it does alright. |

| Great bokeh, very nice composition as well, great colors, just an overall nice shot and I really think this should've scored a 6+ easily. Very nicely done with this one. I really like your flower shots. |
