Taken during the 30 Days of Flowers side challenge.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, colored dead flower head on right green and then cloned some of it out, dodged/burnt bug, made 2nd layer, Gaussian blur, erased bug and part of flower, merged layers; made another layer, applied spot filter in green, reduced transparency to 50%, merged; increased contrast, USM, added border, resized, sharpened with noise reduction. |

| I just can't believe the scoring in this challenge. Shots that I would've easily guessed would be mid-6s fail to break 6. This is one of them. Great shot! |

| I like the colours and sharpness of the bug's head. I would prefer a little more DOF though so the bug is entirely in focus. |
