 Extremely rare time that my whole family got together (as I live in Japan and one of my brothers lives in Indonesia).
My father turned 80 in July, and that was a good excuse for the trip to Australia. My mother painted the portrait of him in 1967, forty years before. he wears his college tie and Order of Australia badge.
You might also notice the matchboxes. My brother had a photo of dad laughing superimposed on a print of The Laughing Cavalier (as big as the portrait), and my sister had copies of it done on dozens of matchboxes. Hilarious.
Although there are a lot of flaws in this photo, I'm very proud of it, and that beats scoring high in a Best of Year challenge.

I think this is a lovely idea for a portrait, the lamp light gives warmth, but the yellow cast is a bit overwhelming. Your Dad looks great at 80 :) I really do enjoy looking at this picture - coming along to bump you up ;)

He's still a fine looking man. The image has a reddish touch on my monitor but it's a very nice image.

He's aged well! Nice angle to get the painting in the shot. White balance looks a little yellow but that's translating as a warm light, which is kind of nice.

Nice family image. Focus is dull and a flash is needed from the right. Will struggle in this competition. Good Luck. 3.

This could desperately use some white balance. In addition, it is too dark on my monitor.
