This was taken this past fall on the Blue Ridge Parkway. She had been running and playing and this was just a moment when she put her head down to rest a minute.

Cropped. cloned out something white in the background. Adjusted some levels, white balance, saturation, then did this gradient mask thing. Took me forever, because I didn't have a freakin' clue what I was doing, but I liked the effect.

I really like this shot. Soooo, I figure (at tops) it will be about a 5.4. :)

Oh yea, this was shot with a rented 20-200L.

She has the most amazing eyes. This is an excellent shot. While flipping through your portfolio, this one caught my eye and I remembered it was in a challenge, but couldn't remember which one. It has that kind of impact - the kind that makes you remember you've seen it and were captivated by those eyes!

Back to comment. I like the tilt to her head - very sweet model - my eyes would prefer a little of her mouth showing I think. Overall a nicely composed image although her hair & eyelash areas appear to be a bit over sharpened. Voted this a 7 earlier in the week.

Nice shot but you really got carried away with the sharpening I'm afraid. (Especially evident in the hair).

Beautiful girl. Great capture and cropping. I like the lighting howver there appears to be a little bleaching under her right eye. You can tell she has beautiful eyes without the over processing, but still like the result. Good Luck. 7.

Well, i'm a sucker for good portraits- I only wish the eyes weren't as blue, they look a bit overprocessed.
