Thanks for the comments. Next time I'll try color for sure. This lion didn't stay too long in this spot, so I didn't really have time to play around with multiple settings. In fact, I was lucky to get this guy straight on in the first place. I'll have to go back another time and try again! :) |

Not sure if it works well in BW as almost every part of the picture is similar in tone. |

I would love to have seen the color shot of this one. It probably would do better in this challlenge. |

I like the composition, but i think the lighting could be a bit better and I would prefer color for this (i think at least without seeing it in color) |

The B&W does not work for me. Also the blurring effect (I am assuming) is distracting my focus away from the subject. Colour may have provided a better contrast and depth. Also, the processing has bleached out the area around his mouth (a problem I always have when I take lion shots). Good Luck. 4. |
