 Route 50 facing South from around mile marker 31. This is very near the end of the paved road on the West side of Kaua`i. I took the day to go and see what it is like in the South West and it is amazingly different from where I live in the lush North. I know I am taking liberties here since I do not live on the West side of the island but it is an island and it is where I live.

How weird - this shot of Hawaii makes it look a lot like much of the plains of the Midwest.

I LIKE THE WAY THE LINES LEAD MY EYE RIGHT INTO & up the road...(sorry about the CAPS there :)

One day I am coming to visit Hawaii, and would love to ride my bike, leisurely taking in the sweet smells and sight of the islands

Any picture you take on any Hawaiian island will work for me :-)

This is *so* different from the others. I would never have guessed where it was taken. I guess I always think of Hawaii as lush. Shows what I know!

great shot of where you sort'v life !!
and i reckon anywhere within a 100km radius or even more is where you live .. its all relative ... i live thousands of miles from you so even the country you live in is where you live to me .. :)
