For those who don't know, yes, you can pop out the individual keys on a keyboard and move them around. A friend asked me how I did this, so I figured some of you might ask as well.

PP steps in PSPX2:

HDR merge using only two files (probably didn't need it, but the range was a wee bit better than a standalone shot even though I toned it down in the end)

Selective mask on the 5 & 7 keys - brightened a touch and increased contrast. Inverted mask and decreased brightness on the rest of the keyboard to slightly draw attention to the two keys.

A hint of Clarify and USM to make it a little crisp.

Slight crop, resize, and border.

That's it.

I love the simplicity of the photograph. it is such an ordinary object that is seems unique to be in a photo.

With your current cropping I can't tell if that's the F7 key next to the F5 ... ;-)

I love the focus on this. I noticed before I read the caption that the 6 was missing. Fun concept!

Lol - how funny. Your image makes ya look twice and then look down at your own keyboard to compare. :-)

Very funny... I assumed (incorrectly) that the focal point of the image would be the 6 key... It took me a second to realize it wasn't there.

This is an OOB implementation of the challenge. Nice clean shot. I like the DOF and the diagonal orientation of the subject.
