Uyghur (I believe) baker in an outdoor neighborhood market, Baoji, China. The flatbread, called nan, is quite different from the Indian flatbread of the same name: thicker, more substantial, and has an embossed ornate pattern.
The baker has just dipped the loaf in a bowl of seeds to his left and is about to embed the seeds into the dough by slamming it on the cloth cover stone beneath his hand. He will then slap the loaf against the wall of the oven through the opening in front of him.
Preprocessing in Lightroom: white balance, exposure, recovery, tone curve, saturation, noise reduction, sharpening.
In Photoshop: transform, crop, clone out spot on arm and imperfection on apron, resize, save for web.

| Good use of thirds, may have pulled back a bit to include the entire surface that he is working from. Some curve adjustments and tweaking of the shadows could have added some more contrast. Good Luck. 5. |

| Just my opinion, but the peice of purple plastic on the bottom right completely ruins the feel of this photo. |

| The spot on the wall in the center is a bit distracting. Maybe it could have been cloned out. |
