Agreeing a bit with earlier commenters - a little less of the foreground and a bit more of the sky might have punctuated the sense of desolation in this shot even more than you have done here (and don't ask me why, because honestly I don't know, it just feels that way :) ) But this is a fine expression of those cold grey winter days, when you think all the world has packed up and left you standing there. |

Boo for the score! I like this shot.I actually like the plants and added elements in the background. It gives the shot more of a placement in real life than just being a surreal photo. |

I have to agree with what geoffb said. I'd like to see a little less of those plants sticking up. What I thought was cool about this photo was that the lower right branch looks like it's making contact with the tree in the background. Then that makes you look and realize that there are buildings back there. Pretty cool. |

I like the strong focus on the tree. It's very intriguing emotionally. As a suggestion, it might look even better with a bit of the bottom cropped off and with a very slight bluish tint to the image. |

This looks exactly like a tree I have taken pictures of in Bowmanville, Ontario, just south of Tauton on Highway 57. If this is it...then hello neighbour. If it isn't then it is very eerie.
Image is a little grainy and focus is a little flat for my liking. Sorry. GOod Luck. 4. |

Not sure about the composition here. I like the placement of the horizon line but the tree should be off centered more or entirely centered. (Maybe centered with a square crop?) I imagine you converted this to b&w which works well here as it is a naturally monochromatic scene. |

It does look very cold and lonely, love the off centre compostion, works nicely. 7 |
