| Beautiful tonal range to this image, and a visually interesting subject. I wish it was at more of a diagonal line to give a bigger dynamic impact to the image. |

| absolutely killer pic. very strong contender for this series. the black & white does a lot of justice here...especially the age and 'used' feel of the metal. 9 |

| Ack, you should have cropped this so the right part is out, leaving the spring on the right more. Nice lighting. If you want more of the spring to be in focus, use a smaller aprature (higher number). |

| DOF drops off a bit too much towards the bottom and there is something centre right that catches the eye. The image suits b&w well |

| I have no idea what the subject actually is but I love the image. The wood frames the image very well and echoes the vertical line of the metal spring. The light/ reflections on the metal look great in black and white. I like the slightly shallow DOF choice. Very nice indeed. |
