I like your use of an implied subject, with the part actially constituting the "six" obscured.

It would be much better if the gun were pulled out a bit or angled different so you could see it is a 6-shooter.

Somthing is off for me about this photo. I think it is the belt buckle is more predominant than the 6 shooter.

terribly out of focus, boring composition too, also seems very dark on the details (buckle and gun)

Nice concept. I don't like the red plastic background... it really takes my attention away from the subject. Also the sharpness/detail on the revolver and buckle seem a bit lacking.

Great colors. Subtle meeting of topic.

You have, at least, presumed some level of ability in the voters to work out what the 'six' is here; I'm betting you'll have underestimated the literalness of some assessors minds though. For myself, I find this a fairly bland still-life: lacking fine detail, a lumpy composition, and unsuccessful choice of colour combinations - that red background makes it hard for the real tones and quality of the leather to stand out.

Snapshotish- I really want to see that six shooter to fully get this photo. The red plastic defintely doesn't work with the harsh lighting used. it creates many light parts which distracts the eyes and the focus.

I can´t see the ¨six¨on it...

I think this would work better with a different background. You have nice rich colors in the leather and metals and the red plastic or tissue detracts from that "old" and natural feel. Rough wood would be my choice, or a dark fabric.

Great idea. Some sepia and nixing the plastic backdrop would have really enhanced, though. Just a thought. Happy shooting (uh, no pun intended).
