High pressure all right. Bar 6! = 6 kp/cm^2 showing on the gauge. That is 6 times normal atmospheric pressure. It will fill your pitcher up fast!

Three exposures merged into an HDR image. Focal Length = 59mm.

PP = Crop to 1.5:1, Curves, Reduce Colour Noise, USM for local contrast, Gauzian Blur background (2 pixels), Resize to 720X, Sharpen for Web, Border, Submit

An underground keg ought to keep the brew at a stable serving temperature.

It could be me, but I'm not sure how you saw this fitting in the challenge. Looking closely, the needle gage is on 5. Hmm. Perhaps if taken from a different angle or if it were changed to black & white it would be more interesting to me. The background is busy and my eyes tend to wander all over your photo and not focus on your main subject.

You have to look closely for the 6 here. I think of all the things you could have done with this, and all the ways you could have shot it, you didn't go for the best one. The background is super busy, the exposure looks a bit bright, the details of the old pipe are hard to see and the dial is a bit lost all the way down there.

Would it have worked better if the camera was positioned looking across the dial and up at the tap maybe?

Interesting idea, but seems OOF to me.

The lighing on this is poor and the subject blends in with the distracting background. I like the idea of the pressure guage, but I think you should have cropped in tightly on that. The rest of the image is more a distraction than a benefit.
