I wanted to really bring out the elements,(the house the trees on the left and the trees on the right) of this photo but could not make it pop. I tried curves but nothing came and then just worked on shadow/ highlights and contrast. It seems too dark and flat to me but I don't know how to fix it. Thanks in advance for any critique.

Image doesn't appeal to me. Sorry. It is a little flat and the focus is soft. If possible, I think I may have liked to see the road cover more of the image, i.e. start in the bottom left and move to the upper right, but I am assuming that is possible. Also, since the title pulls my attention to the road, I may have gotten a little dirty and got really low to expand the perception of the road and have the horizion higher in the image. Good Luck. 4.

I bet this looks a million times better big. It feels like it just doesn't do it justice in this size (which I know you can't help). The leading line and the reflections are very nice.
