It seems every time I enter one of these homemade/setup shots they don't do badly, but they don't do that well either. The colours in this one weren't bold enough I don't think...I had a purple cupcake that I should have used instead of the green one, as the green tones aren't that appealing. I should also have tonemapped it better, maybe even swapped some colours around. Learned a lot from trying this stuff out. My original idea was to use mirrors but it was just too hard without getting the hammer and nails out.

I think I'm going to try to shooting 'natural' stuff, which is where I think I'm better. Still, this sort of thing is good fun and a really good learning experience.
