 A candid shot taken on the spur of the moment as I noted the light, pose and pensiveness. Latterly it appealed as an entry for this challenge. My others may have better met the challenge but were rather contrived. I prefer the camera as an observer.

What's off screen? What do you think? Another photographer! She's posing!

Technical - camera hand held in late evening sun at 80th second and 300mm focal length equivalent, hence lack of sharpness.

Lovely, evocative photo. I love the lighting and how the girl is in focus and the background is not. I'd love to know what she is looking at off screen.

Like the rule of thirds, and the background how it is blurry...focuses on subject more...great!

Beautiful image. Focus, sharpness, DOF, ........ everything very well done and the model is very nice. You start wondering whats of screen, is it another person, the sunset? At least its something that the girl likes.
If there is something I should critiziese then I would have liked a litle warmer white balance but thats always matter of opinion. Good example of how simple can be good. One of the best in this challenge.

Very nice. I can't even imagine what she is looking at. Very pretty with the sunlight. I like how the girl is in focus moreso thatn her surroundings.

I like this... natural lighting is wonderful, your focus is well selected, and your DOF makes your subject stand out. Not so much of an "expectation" in my opinion, but I really like the composition and lighting.. 7
