I did not vote on this.
I'd like to see the same object in a different background scene.
Replacing the toy blocks and teddy bear in the 2rd place photo with your object could make a big difference.
I thought the Folds in the back was a curtain valance. I'd like to see those held up by thread or something in the same shape/angle as it's worn, like in some tv comercials.

I voted in this challenge, and I gave you a 5. The reason being, it lacked dof, maybe stacking them differently would have helped, or moving them around. the colours are true colours which is great. It was an interesting take on the challenge, and it was different and out of the box, but it was boringingly out of the box. I am sorry |

Post voting comment as requested:
I gave it a 6 (about average vote for me this challenge) which is more a reflection of the originality of subject. As others have mentioned however, it seems a little flat and cluttered to really wow.
I suspect nappies just aren't that photogenic ;) |

I didn't make the connection either - had kids at one time, but not recently enough to get this one. From a compositional stand point, the picture is very busy both from a shape and a color stand point, too much competition for your main subject. Technically appears ok, just a very cluttered, one dimensional image. Hope this helps,
Jack |

Not true - I remember that Tag line in the UK ads...
I didn't vote this challenge, though if I did, I would have probably voted a 4.
Lighting seems very harsh and direct.
I don't like the composition - It is a little un-interesting.
Might have worked better without the two nappies up front, though that may have made it even more difficult for people to recognise. |

I didn't vote, but you would have lost me too. I tried to figure it out before scrolling down, but didn't get it.
After reading what it is... the title did click for me, but that jingle only came to mind after I read they were pullups. |

It's funny to see how different people respond to a challenge theme. I would have recognized it and scored it a 7 because this really does represent childhood, however, I think people were looking for more creativity. This photo is technically good, except i think the colors are a little flat, and it is a little dark for my taste. I think composition wise, it could be better. If I were you, I would try it again, but in a different composition. Different angles, and not so symetrical. |

I gave you a 4 - I had no idea what the nappies were, and thought perhaps they were toy bags or something similar! As for the link to the comercial, remember that will only apply to American viewers! In terms of the photo itself, I simply found it dull and uninspiring - sorry... |

Yes I knew what they were and I also knew where your title came from (the commercial). I gave this a 6 which is sort of high for me. I don't think it is all that interesting, just some pull-ups, no fancy lighting, nothing to wow the viewer. Sorry. But you got a 6 because it was clear and it fit the challegne. |

After-voting-ended-comment-on-request: I gave this one a 6, and ence think it deserved better than 4.5ish. I think the idea is orginal (between all the toys and swings and milk&cookies) and the technicallities are okay. And yes, I did recognize diapers, I have a two year old and a 4 year old at home. I think it could have improved by creating a little more depth, for instance by using a different angle, or by putting the stacks behind each other in stead of next to each other. |

I didnt vote in this challenge but I probably would have scored this a 5. I know what they are for sure (and I am so looking forward to not having to have them in my house anymore). The composition is a bit boring. I understand that it might be an ad type layout but it just seems flat and uninspired to me. Maybe the stack of pullups like you have behind and then a package of the Kandoos wipes or something. The shot just needs something else. Different angle, different layout, something to make it more than just a straight on shot. 4.5 may be a bit harsh, it is in focus and the colors are decent, but I wouldnt have expected much higher into the 5s. |

I really like the idea of the use of dippers, it's different and unique, but it's kind of plain |

The colours and the cars are indeed reminiscent of childhood, but I'm personally finding it difficult to figure out what the objects in the picture are... Bags? Boxers? Nappies? Sorry, might be obvious, but I really have no clue. |

Wow... you're running a regular diaper factory there! I like the repeating elements. I'd like it more if it looked more natural, i.e. without the two diapers in front. |
