that's weird. i have a picture of a sycamore tree in my portfolio that has almost the same perspective - and it's a bare tree too lol. (except I thought it was an Ash Tree lol)

Clearly the meaning of shoes over a tree branch was lost on many.

Great shot! I'm surprised this didn't do better...

Nice idea for the challenge. But, if not for the title it would have been difficult to see the âshoesâ part â not aware if it was possible or not to zoom in or be closer to the subject.

Nice tree shot, like the tones you've used. Swing is a little too lost though, imo.

Sorry, I can't relate. Is this some kind of youth ritual? Not where I lived, never even heard of it. Execution is okay though.

Wish you had gotten the actual swing in the photo instead of the tree. Here it's just a tree photo...

The swing and shoes aren't obvious enough. Maybe a closer crop?

I really like your focus on the sycamore. It is not only unusual but somehow appropriate for the cahllenge.

Without the title I probably wouldn't have noticed the rope "swing"...

wish you could see the shoes and rope better

I would be lost on what this had to do with the theme if it wasn't for the title.

I think your picture might have been more effective if you had shown more of the swing and just forgotten the shoes.

Awesome, this should come top 10.

Ah yes... the dreaded objects stuck in the tree. Interesting take on the challenge. The rope is more a distraction for me. I think you could have left that out.

I like the memory you were trying to capture, but the subjects (swing and shoes) do not stand out enough the rest of the picture. I do love the colors and the crispness of the overall shot though.

Without the title it's mostly just a tree. The rope & shoes need more accent, bigger part of the pic, or some other means to bring them out. Nice idea, just needs more concentration on the true subject.

great idea, but it's so hard to see the rope swing and shoes in this photo.
