1950 Studebaker and a 1938 pump. I came across this sitting in a nice man's yard while driving home from a long trip to central PA one day. I stopped and asked the man if I could walk into his yard to photograph the car and he told me stories about how it had made the cover of a magazine at one point and that he had been asked numorous times to sell it, but never did... I felt like if I would have been willing to stay and have a beer and chat, that he would have much abliged. I wanted to thank him, even if he may never see this picture or posting;

Thank you stranger.

And thank you to everyone else for your useful comments and votes. I hope you enjoyed this one.

Nice subject and sepia tones. Perfect point of view. A seven for you.

Taken outside the realm of the 'standard' old car shot by the fact that you have incorporated such a dilapidated looking fuel pump (is it really working?)

Great use of sepia as well

Nice retro, possibly need to use a wider angle lens and provide some space around the car/pump to give some context.

Great subject, very fitting for the challenge. I think the orange tone of the sepia is a tad too strong IMO.

Nice touch with the sepia to a classic "old ways" theme. Nice POV and composition.

Beautifully composed shot. Feels fisheyed, which really adds to the perspective. I'm not a big fan of the toning - the toning adds to the old factor but is just a tad too strong imho.

fabulous car, love the oldies feel that the colour has given to it, would love to also see this in HD to bring out all those details. 9
