After FocusPoint all but convinced me i was going for a ribbon in the challenge thread i was a bit more skeptical considering the score - it isnt even on my front page and i havent ribboned yet... I'll take 5th tho :)

Thanks for the votes and comments - i admit i was going for the eye-candy first and then the challenge (i didnt even shoot this with the challenge in mind but for my own personal portfolio! :))

This is a magnificant photo. Everything about it is stunning. I can't imagine how you couldn't have this hanging as a large print on your wall. Brilliant!

Oh no...oh no...don't refer to this photo as eye-candy...its just not fair to you. Leave that to those who think good shots have to follow a "rule set". Its a great photo.

This is really cool looking. Nice capture of the night lighting, with the beautiful colors in the sky and the nice reflections. I'd only crop out that buoy in the foreground. Otherwise, perfect!

the way the object is lit is very nice, as is the sun set you captured. but the lake is what kills the picture. if you had gotten closer and maybe left some of the reflection that would have worked. but my eye is drawn to what ever is in the right corner first, as it also is lighter then everything else.

Gorgeous lighting! I like the highligh on the object in the lower right. Sky is beautiful too. Long exposure make the reflections look great.

great shot. I'm thinking nice long exposure? The only minor nitpick I have is the wall on the left - the brightness loses the detail a bit - not easy to fix in basic though
