 This is about 8 miles from Sunset falls (my entry for Rivers and Streams). I took this on the same day. Sometimes this spot has very reflective water which is mirror flat (for a river), but there has been so much rain I think things were moving faster than they usually do. The water was milky. Likely from clay or other particulate matter kicked up from the extra water.

Hey! There were only 10 layers on this one (lowish for me). Anyway, S/H, level, contrast, hue/sat (reds +30, yellows +10/+20, sharpening which is masked off on the trees (I hate the way evergreens sharpen), NI, and burn.

This is one of the two 10's I gave for this challenge (Larus was the other). I love the texture on the water, and the greens. Great stuff.

A beautiful spot, and perfect shutterspeed. I love the curvy lines in that liquid jade and all the furry green of the forest to contain it and that lovely bridge.

Amazing colours here, and love the smooth surface on the water. Your shutter speed choice was perfect.

Sorry can't vote on this one as I know it's Doc's.
However it is a very very good image. My only wish is that there had been a stronger reflection in the water, but that's only a minor point.
