What a good job you have done with this shot. The reflection of the building is wonderful. I think I would like to see this in colour too. |

Very nice! It is amazing the completely different feel that each version has (this one and the rotated one). In this version I really like the fact that the stone walkway is so sharp..it gives it a since of stability. Really wonderful composition. |

Pretty sharp reflection... being a reflection the picture seems more interesting composition wise and great b/w conversion! |

Great capture and the rotation of it is definitely surreal. I like the opposing lines of the bridge and the house and tree. |

I like it rotated because the shadow on what now would seem to be a stone wall realy makes you wonder what is going on in this image. I love reflective images like this. Great tone work and composition IMO. Thanks! |

The surrealness of everyday life, the necessity to open ones eyes and look, and the art of framing are what I think about when looking at your photo. |

Great idea well executed :)
My first thought was to straighten the house but on reflection (pun intended) I prefer it as is. The rotated version seem to add another eery dimention (wonder what it would look like if you flipped the rotate version vertically then added it to this?) |

really neat composition. well exposed, and well framed. I think I prefer the upside down version, though - it plays tricks on my mind and makes things more interesting. |

Del - I am so happy to see you are participating in this. I love the finished look of this one. Your eye is so good at picking up on the beauty of New England and providing it such a high level of quiet dignity. I will be taking lessons from you all year long in this challenge... |

I like the range of tones in this photo. The whites in the reflection are really nice. To me it seems stronger without the grass. |

I've always liked reflection shots, and I'd never really thought of doing them in B&W - this works very well! Detail is exceptional. |

Wow! Now THAT is a mirror reflection. It seriously looks like you rotated the photo upside down. I love photos like this that have fun with interesting angles and perspectives. I love the different textures, from the brick to the trees, to the trees. VERY nice ! ! !

This is a very creative shot. Love the contrast and deception. The tree gives it an eerie feel. |
