your title takes the viewer to the mage of the birds...which if taken as the main subject may have worked...they do appear to be looking out of the screen in two different directions. What hurts this image for me is the eyes are pulled to the highlights on the trees. Also the palms??? lower left and the time stamp lower right. maybe a tighter crop giving the birds and the branches they sit on a greater roll in the overall composition of the shot. hope this helped:) |

You're digital camera puts a date on the pic? Weird. What kind of camera do you have? I'd like to know. Please PM me. |

the title of the image is in the frame, and the birds don't seem to indicate that something interesting is outside the frame. |

I don't get the feeling of an off screen expectation from this...the date stamp in the corner is very distracting also |

What is the offscreen expectation here? The birds are very dark. I think you need to take this photo from a different angle. |

I really like this photo (but not the date). It is wonderrfully composited and you have caught a perfect weird moment. I don't think it has anything to do with the challenge, though. If it was 'patterns in nature' I would have given it a ten. If you want to fuss, take out the tiny off-angle frond bits and the little bits of branches on the edge of the frame at the right. Take more shots like this. |

The birds are too dim to see with any clarity unless you were going for silhouette style. I don't really see the challenge in this shot. |

when entering challenge turn off the display time so it doesn't show up on you actual photo. does this evoke an Off-screen expectation? |

Unfortunately this picture does not tie in with the Theme, and although the image is interesting, it doesn't really convey a strong message |

This shot leaves nothing to be expected off-screen. Seeing the date left on, I'm wondering if you just submitted this for shock factor. 2. |
