Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to write something before the competition started. I probably was much more excited right after I took it, before the scores started coming in. Interesting how many people hated it or I'm assuming didn't think it met the challenge. I'm glad most who commented liked the angle and composition. It will help me to continue to look at stuff from a fresh perspective. Thanks to Jess for not chugging her martini and putting up with the picture taking even after it passed the "fun" stage.

Nice picture, well done, I start wondering, does he knows her? What does she wants? Does not happen very often, I looked more than once at your picture.
The story behind this picture is very good as is the composition.

| Great idea, great capture. The light on the face, the strong look, the bar atmosphere, the angle of view, the colors, all contribute to a strong image. If further editing was allowed, I would tone down the yellow, but I don't think any other changes are needed. |

| The yellow is a bit bright, hurts my eyes, but this overall is a great photo. Love the fluid lines, shadows and the moment you chose to capture. All works well. 6. |

| Interesting point of perspective. Unique shot with a jarring mix of colors. I think her eyes need to be seen better to see the expectation though. |

| Only thing i can picture off screen is the rest of the man offering the light. Interesting use of colours, particularly the red. Will be interested to read your explanation behind this |
