 Timewise, I suppose I'm cheating, since this shot was taken back in November. OTOH, I processed it today.

This is just a plain old crow that was wandering around under some trees. I liked his pose, and started fooling with curves, trying to make him stand out more from the background. Then I did some tonemapping in CS3, and this is what I ended up with. It sort of reminds me of an old engraving.

I think the processing serves to give him a more fierce, harsh demeanor. I like this.

Mr. Crow does remind one of an old engraving the way u processed him also an old postcard..
