Thanks for the comments! This came out much better than I expected given the tight quarters and difficult lighting situation. I am simply astounded at the number of people who didn't see this as an Off-Screen Expectation. It's pretty darn obvious! No, the marlin isn't on-screen. We call that thing on the right a shadow... it's the result of light shining on the object not visible on the screen. ;-) |

Isnt it on-screen? This would have tolerated more contrast, though its a matter of taste. |

I really like this setup. I especially like that it's so obviously a bathtub, yet that girl is convincingly fishing there! |

Good idea, but why spell it out in the caption? The pic says it all. Why not just something like "Catch"? |

Ingenuity strikes again! I guess she found the big fish in the little pond! Great! |

Wow! The corner behind the girl could have been cropped though... but nevertheless a good concept :D Good luck! |

Well done in terms of drawing attention outside the photo - definitely one of the best. I'd like to see more color or action in the shot though, to make it more visually appealing. |

Cute. Good use of shadow. I like the jiggle on the end of the fishing rod as well. Not sure I would have used B&W. |

Very cute idea. The lighting seems a bit flat, though. She's a doll! |

I've been through most of the entries and had to come back to this one to comment. i think this shot shows the kind of creativity that is lacking in most of the other entries. i hope you place in the top 3 with this one. mildly comic, yet very tense. i love it |
