The orange tone here is a little too string. I like the shallow DOF - could be better even shallower. |

I have not worn a watch in at least 10 years. The Air Force trained me to always remove watches, rings and jewelery when working on electrical equipment, so it's just something else in my pocket all day. Besides, I always have something else with the time on it. I'm sure I am not the only one that has stopped wearing a watch, and that's why I find your entry quite appropriate for this challenge.
The composition here tries to lead the eye, except for the brightness over on the right being a distraction. There's not a lot of wow to it, I'm afraid, and the image needs some skew correction.
Getting closer to the watch and showing some of it's detail may have helped. |

good idea. the light on the right side of the picture draws your eye away from the focus though. |
