Basically crop, a lot of playing with hue/saturation to get the sky and colouring the way you see it, done uniformly to the entire image so it is legal. Then shadow/highlight and sharpen, then noise ninja. resize for web, add border.

I have no idea why this challenge was done under basic editing. It could have been a much better photo.

My prediction is that it will be about 5.7. Time will tell...

Nice shot, Ernie! I think the birds add a lot to it.

The colors are the first thing that caught my eye. And I like the birds flying by. They give it that "classic scene" feeling.

Very pretty building. Actually the pigeons kind of bug me to be quite honest. The sky is a killer in this too. Oh how I wish it was blue. Perhaps a different approach with the streetsign in the middle of it may have helped as well. The building is great, and I would definately shoot it again if I were you. Try some tight detail work, and different angles though!

Back to comment. I think the movement of the birds adds a lot of interest to this shot that it wouldn't have otherwise - good choice. My eye wishes the shot were a little wider (but maybe I wouldn't if I saw what was on either side! :). Gave this 7
