I like the juxtaposition, but the contrast is quite low. I'd also suggest either a larger aperture so the tree blurs out quite a bit or a smaller aperture so the arch is sharper. Probably the former. |

You know, maybe someone did what you described, while designing that arch. Maybe they had these shapes in mind. I didn't catch what you saw but my first thought was that it looks like the arch has a natural curtain hanging over it. I like the contrast between the soft arch and the sharp tree. |

Nice arch but I feel your focus is more on the tree than the arch. I am not sure a tree can be considered architecture. |

Appears the focus (literally) was on the tree rather than the architecture ... especially unfortunate since the duotone or desat treatment makes the tree look dead. |
