 Taken at my daughter's school. They had a Harry Potter theme party. This old owl only has one eye. It was hit by a car and sent to a rescue for birds of prey. Now in the care of Audubon State Park.

Adjusted fill light & highlight, along with contrast, then cropped and resized for submission.

how can you tell it's old? (knowing nothing about owls) the background looks a little out of focus. nice idea though

What a cool looking bird! I don't like the halo around the bird and all the noise in the pic.

yes, may be an old owl...but I don't feel it really meets the Challenge. And I wish you had more of Mr Hoot's tailfeathers. Nice focus, lighting and color! (5)
