The soft focus -- or gaussian blur -- doesn't add anything for me.

This works very well. The grainy look suits it. If it were sharpened, it might get boring, with so many lines.

Why so blured ?!
03/23/2004 12:07:21 AM
Interesting. I like the softness.

meets the challenge but not an overly interesting shot

I really love these kinds of photo

Very good idea. Your focus could be quite a bit sharper. Sometimes bracketing helps in situations like this. Nevertheless, it is good seeing.

i'd love to see this with a sharper focus!

would have liked to see a sharper image - but good idea

Good idea for parallels, but you have to focus better. The lighting and crop are good, but a sharp focus would have bumped this up a couple points higher.

I like the idea, but not your execustion. Focus is awful.

Too soft

This was a nice approach to the challenge if only there was something - just something - in focus! You my find yourself with a brown ribbon due to that one issue I'm afraid. ;)

the lack of focus does not work for me, sorry ...

If this were in focus at all I think it would be a fascinating image.

It's a bit out of focus
03/17/2004 12:29:51 PM
the image is out of focus on my screen, does it look focused on yours?
03/17/2004 08:38:15 AM
Interesting subject.

Nice picture. Think it might have been more effective if more crisply focused.

A great idea but unfortunately not executed well enough. Its too off-focus and the lighting a bit poor. In situations like these i would have used a tripod with a longer exposure instead. You don't need a fancy camera to make great pictures just know your camera's capabilities. I'm sure your camera has the "night shot" option (the one with the moon shape) so you can take pictures under these lighting (or lack of it) conditions. A good effort nevertheless! 3

That's cool. but... It would have been even cooler if you had the letters lione up to spell something.
