I love the processing on the sky - not too crazy about the spire though - seems a little too contrasty to me. Definitely creative though!

Such a melding of place and space here, emphasizing both but minimizing them both at the same time. Contradictions and hidden substance. Excellent.

Sensuous. Frank Lloyd Wright meets Goya.

I like the conversion to black and white, it looks almost infrared. For my personal tastes I think the effects on the sky are alittle too much.

Like everyone said, its very surreal, the clouds look like smoke. Im not a fan of too much pp, but this is very well done!

Alicia - how much fun is this? So sci-fi looking. The sky is eerie looking and at the same time soft too. Then the spike comes in with this beautifully strong and sharp-lined contrast. Pretty cool!

some crazy cool processing on this one - FLW would be proud of this

the sky seems like a Van Gogh and the foreground seems like outerspace

Processing on the spire is wonderful. Would like to compare this with a less processed sky before I pass judgement on the sky.

How surreal. It's almost like a cutout. Wonderful whites.

Interesting subject! I like the angle of the shot and the contrast. Not too sure about the sky though.

Very dramatic picture. I like how the steeple seems glow against the moody background.

A crazy sky in this shot, looks like we are waiting for the space ship to land.

That sky is absolutely wicked! Good contrast really makes the spire stand out.

The processing of this is too "weird" for my taste, but I like the composition and tones.

ooh, Abstract and Surreal! if that is what you where after then it works, for me I think the sky should have been left alone.

oh, and after looking through your portfolio I am crowning you Queen of the Spires ;)

Your processing accentuates the lines of the spire very well - it's quite elegant in its own right - but I'm not sure I dig the swirly cloud action. That's just my own personal taste, though.

Whoa, what a dreamy marbly sky. I like it. It almost looks like there is smoke billowing in the sky, and what interesting architecture. I was always fascinated by Frank Lloyd Wright when I studied his work in school.

Simplicity is often the best route; exclusion enhances. Icons emerge as the view is limited. Your image makes one ponder.
