First, thanks, everyone, for taking the time and trouble to vote and comment.

This is a picture of an art glass sphere about 2 inches in diameter. It looks like a planet to me and the artist actually calls them planets. Here is a link to a different crop of the same raw image as I used here: //www.pbase.com/outland/image/92397451/

I picked an angle with the spiral feature showing so that it would be obvious that it wasn't Earth. In fact, I thought of using "To Slip The Surly Bonds Of . . ." as the title.

Thanks again.

I guess this is a globe, but it's hard to really tell what I'm looking at.

Too much background space and your subject is blurry. There is a hot spot in the right corner, and you are unable to determine what the object is.

After much thought I got this. Unfortunately, you don't have that much time to get your mesage to the viewer. Comp on this works but otherwise the potential client can't figure out what you're selling.

That's just bizarre enough, and "out there" (no pun intended) enough that I like it.

This is an awesome picture I love the colors and the use of negative space, but I don't understand what it is.

Very obscure. Can't tell what we're looking at or what you want us to see.
