I got to te end of the voting and noticed I hadn't given out a 10 so it's yours. I love the golden glow over everything and his concentration on whatever he is looking at. This is just a wonderful warm picture that looks completely natural. Good job.

Excellent use of natural light. Only a sunset can be that warm. Anyway... it is one of the best. 10 from me.

There is no way this doesn't walk away with a ribbon. The diagonal straw coming from his eye is distracting, but the light quality is phenomenal. Great shot!

I like the softness here. The golden colors are also striking. My only comment is that the face is too much of the side view. I wish I can see more of it. Other than that..an excellent shot.

I really like this one. I like the colours and the lighting. IT really captures a mood - and makes me feel like I'm right there. My only suggestion would be to capture a bit more of the emtpy/negative space to the right (and, even then, only slightly) - the position of the boy is perfect, it just needs a bit more negative space, so to speak. I love it though and I hope you do well.

Great capture. Beautiful concentration. Slightly too much gold in the back ground Sharper dof might have helped. The shirt, rather than the face, is in focus. BOL

Yikes, it looks like he is going to poke his eye out with that! I love the warm tones, perfect time of day to take the shot, coupled with the warm colors of the wheat just really makes this glow golden.

Really nice warm tones in this image. Would like to have seen the effect of reversing this and having the subject face on to the light..with the shadows playing on the face.

Lovely late sun tones and a nice balance between foreground and background. The sharper focus is on his shirt takes your eye from his face but it is still an attractive portrait.

Totally cute capture. I immediately thought of my daughter and just how amazingly lovely kids are when they are engrossed in learning something or playing with something. It's just so much fun to see them making those connections in their heads. This little guy looks intent on something. Sadly the photo looks a little soft on his face. A gold reflector (or fcb) would have been great on the righthand side of this shot as well to bring a little more light onto his face.

Absolutely beautiful work!
This is my first 10 of the challenge, but I̢۪m not far into the voting yet.
I love the sunset cast to this. The soft background is a perfect way to bring all the attention to your subject. My only suggestion would be to open up the crop just a bit on all four sides. There is nothing in the shot pulling the viewers eyes away from the subject, so give him just a little more room. Still a perfect 10
