Wow, very neat capture. I don't believe I have ever saw anything like this before. There are so many beautiful colors in this image. Nice use of the boarder, it is almost as if we are looking through some sort of window. |

I've seen the ground steam, but never a tree trunk. Good job capturing the light that way to make it stand out. |

How cool is that! Steaming trunks! Great photo, beautiful light. Love the different colored leaves and how the light hits them. |

Glad it's steam and not smoke. This must be the wettest summer for years and I'm loving it. |

I love the steamy effect, it almost looks like the tree fire had been put out and a bit of steam is rising. I like how you've captured the light in the trees as well. |

I crave your firewalk area. Sure seems to be full of beautiful photo ops. Of course, the steam is magnificent. And for some reason, that I can't seem to verbalize, I really like the dark mysterious tree trunks in the beautiful colorful foliage.
And to top it all off your border rocks. Picture perfect. |

Funky shot! What was steaming? Looks like it's coming right out of the tree. |

I enjoyed your shot. The dark border was a serious distraction for me. The border, to me, seemed to enhance the lack of focus in this shot. I would be curious to see the original, pre-editing. |

I love the contrast between the dark trees and the bright colours. |

Really like this composition with the three big tree trunks balancing the forest behind.
One of my most used adjustments is the Shadow/Highlight under Image (in CS2) because it really works to bring out the detail in the shadows. It also, somehow, serves to sharpen the details of my images. |
