Since idnic wore camo to match me today. I figured I'd go with the paint as well.

With eyes that bright, I would expect you to have to keep them closed all the time for your camouflage to work effectively :)

I know you don't often show a lot of emotion in your face, Mike, but let's see it!

I agree with the eyes, they just seem a little too solid blue, just my 2 cents though. The pose & lighting I really like, thanks for dealing with all that greasy paint for this shot! :)

Yeah, the eyes are a bit punchy. Overall, well done. Light's good. Separation from the background is ok. Full depth of field on this head and shoulders portrait might have been good too. The position of the lights is perfect.

lighting is again very good. I also think the eyes are a little unreal but don't mind them here because it adds a very interesting contrast to the camo.

Great job, Mike. I've done quite a few make-up shots & I have to agree, greasepaint SUCKS when you need to wash it off. Your eyes look amazing in this one. :)

For me the eyes are a touch overboard, a bit too bold. However separation you have between subject/bg is great and lighting is nice. Ohh how I hated that camo, have you tried Oxy pads? they seem to work really well for the camo and shouldn't be that hard on your face. I am also thinking I want to see some emotion from you, I want to see your WAR FACE. 6-; Nice work.

I really like this! The camo makeup really makes your eyes stand out. Is that a camo backdrop, or are you outside? The DOF is so great that it's hard to tell!

Are you playing war again? Cool shot Mike. A little secret....baby wipes do a great job of taking that off without the burning.

your eyes look unnatural to me, but they do make me look at them! and thats not fun, what with the whole face-burning process to get a self portrait! Oh the things we do for DPC! great job, i like your theme.

I like the backdrop and you did well seperating yourself from it!! Your eyes do pop, but I think they look a little too bright... especially with the dark feel of the image. Your light looks great, no harsh shadows and no bright spots... Nice face paint too :P
