 I bought a new flash yesterday, so I'm just trying it out; rather handicapped by not having a manual in English.
Bounced it off the ceiling here.
The pot is one I made at the end of last year for our jade plant, which will go in it when it's warmer. (It's snowing today.)

Everytime I look at this I think of that episode of the Flinstones when Fred danced with a lampshade on his head. Both are funny!

Funny shot and your expression is just great to match the quirkiness of the set-up. Did you try in portrait orientation? I think it would give your whole composition more room to breathe.

Fun, quirky. The light is a little dark around the eyes. See what you can do about getting some catchlights with that flash.

The pot is great, I thought it was an actual hat.

I don't know quite why, but that looks reasonably fashionable!

Congrats on your new flash. I bought my first external flash for my camera and I have yet to try it out. I don't know why I'm so intimidated!

I can NOT believe you put a pot on your head... gives new meaning to pothead huh?? LMAO! The only thing I notice is an absence of catchlights and the brightness on the front of the pot... otherwise, this is very well lit. Not flat :)

L()L this is great really made me laugh when I saw it. I really enjoy the aspects of everything here and that pot looks fantastic. My only issue is the grey/white spots on the pot, is that flash? or something else? Other then that minor thing I think this is a fantastic image.
