For me the frosted trees are the strongest part of the image the clouds are good but man the trees behind the cows have great light and structure. I would have voted that image a 7 or 8 while giving your posted image a 6.

beautiful view, especially the cloudscape. love the almost horizontal light from the right. Totle doen't fit too well, IMO, the overall tone is too warm. were also gone for a tad more saturation and contrast. |

This is terrific. I can't imagine why no one felt inclined to comment (I didn't get around to voting in this challenge). I like the way it gradually pulls your eye deeper and deeper into it, starting with the ground, the trees and hills, the low clouds and finally the sky itself. (And who would give this a one?!) |

Beautiful scene - one that I imagine stops you in your tracks. The landscape alone without the clouds is very nice, I can't discern much detail in the fore at this size, so .. difficult. I wonder whether the clouds cropped to eliminate the top left darker one may have given this image a little extra. A very strong crop of the clouds to allow the land to shine through more would also make a good image, but .. a different one. |
