- duplicate layer
- blemish tool to remove blk speck on eye oval & scratch on nose.
- brightness & contrast: histogram (0,1,220)
- sharpen: hsm (15,20,hardlight)
- merge all (flatten)
- duplicate layer
- Neat Image
- duplicate bg layer
- erase on NI layer to clear bridle & eye area
- selective sharpen on eye & bridle area
- merge all (flatten)
- duplicate layer
- clone tool to cleanup small streak in upper right corner
- merge all (flatten)
- resize
- sharpen: usm(.35,10,100) +luminance
- save as JPG

I had one of these as a kid and is one of my first memories. The one in the photo I made for my son as a Christmas gift 4 years ago.

Tried a few shots with my sons hand reaching out for the rocking horse but gave up after a few tries. If you've ever used a Lensbaby you'll know it's tricky to find the sweetspot...couldn't get his hand postitioned correctly. Thought about switching over to the 50mm to go really shallow, but I wanted the unique Lensbaby look for this (besides, I don't think my son would've put up with much more posing). :-D

Got the eye sharp - good stuff. Warm colours - just wondering whether or not toning down master saturation by 25% would make an improvement

I like the depth of field here, it reveals just a little, the same way as memories are, bits and pieces...
