Great capture of space here, and though a bit soft in textures to me, this does emphasize the emptiness a bit. |

Nice empty feel to this shot. i like the compostion where I can see through the doors but can't see around the bend, adds a bit of mystery. |

Good textures. Also, my eyes are drawn into the photo to the light area on the floor in the next room. It would be nice to have something of interest sitting in that area. There are lots of interesting things here, but no one subject to grab your attention. Your photograph does make be wonder about the history of this place...I'll bet it's interesting. |

Great ambiance! Love the structure, the random broken/askew pieces. |

Interesting old building. I love brick buildings; they have so much charater. I like the beam in the foreground, almost seems representative of the fall of the Sugar Beet Factory. |

I'm so glad you were able to get in! When I see these interiors I often think about the history and people who worked there. That big open door is inviting me to explore. |

Your photo teaches me that there is much to learn about visual theatre, th presentation of the scene, the visual stage. Around the corner, there is potential of something happening. Why did the beam fall. Questions come and go in ones mind and the imagination becomes engaged. |

looks old and gritty and clean at the same time. I like the peeking we get to do at the back area where the lighting is great on the walls and floor |

It looks so sad this way - waiting for something new to come along to give it life again, though unlikely to happen. Lovely control of the exposure. |

I'm not too keen on the tilt but understand how it might help the feeling somewhat. Reading your comments I take it this was just after the building had been empried and floor brushed? I do get a feeling of wanting to eplore the next room (and beyond). Am thinking we will see more of this building as the year progesses :) |

Like the brick textures, and that there are two things to look at sequentially (whitewashed wall on right and the next room). Fallen beam conveys feeling of dilapidation, so in favor of keeping it even though composition may be better without it. |

I like the textures and light. I want to go and see into the next space. works for me better with the beam cropped off. LG |

Are you trespassing again Barbara???LOL
the offbalance of the image and the fact the floor seems tilted provides a great sense of tension to the shot, that and the beam left lying about make me wonder about the safety of the place
the thing that draws me in is the small sign/ calendar on the wall - it seems so out of place, so left behind, so forgotten
