a very dramatic sky to set this beautiful old church apart. i think the grain works really well here and gives it a throw back feel |

The only thing I can think of that would stop me voting this a 10 in a challenge would be that the tops of the spires are too dark and with no detail, it seems to distract me from the overall image which imho is very striking and almost moving from photography and into charcoal etching.
Excellent post processing of a wonderful building!

Very moody shot. I feel like a broken record with the comments I'm making but tonal range is very important to be in a B&W image and this has it. I like to see black-blacks and white-whites and a lot of renage between. Based your comments your choice of HDR on a dull original really worked. Very nice. |

Beautiful, dramatic, and gothic. The image of the glowing Jesus really stands out. Very cool. |

Very cool! Looks like there must be a reading from the book of Revelations being read in that church, very dramatic. |

I learn that there are ways of making an image with certain associations iconic in nature by the way one processes or develops it. The divine light, the vanishing perspective, the metaphor of dark clouds all add meaning and I will have to learn how to use those effects in my own work. |

This is dramatic, and I like the off kilter POV. The slight amount of grain adds to the overall feel of this photo. |

Well, you sure brought out the detail amazingly! This is BEAUTIFUL! Your version of that old gorgeous building is awesome. I love that eerie processing to give it a rather haunted, dramatic feel. You did an excellent job! I am in love with this photo.

Has an ominous presence to it. I'm not sure what you did with the sky; it looks a bit contrived but definitely adds to the ambience of the shot! Good processing work to bring out the details. |

Awesome shot. Very dramatic in both the subject itself and the processing. Not sure I like the angle you chose and the way the building leans, but you're shooting for you, not me. :) |

Nice image, it would be good to see some of your PP steps in the comments. It looks like there was alot of dodge and burn here. I like the way the angle makes the church "reach" for the sky. |
