 After weeks of creative block and other priorities I finally found the time & energy to drag out my lighting gear and shoot something for a challenge.

This was shot using three remotely triggered speedlights.

Edits :
Levels, color balance, smart sharpen, resize, usm, border, save for web.

I wish I could have cleaned things up a bit, changed the color balance of the reflections in the glass and lightened the wine a bit. Especially the masking tape I used to keep my foamcore reflectors in place became apparent when editing and after I had taken the setup down. Lesson learned : always leave the set untouched until the image has been fully edited. This
is what my advanced editing entry would have looked like.

Nice tones and light. Really makes the wine feel rich. Focuus on the bottle is good but there's some glare on the glass and the whole thing seems a bit tilted. A little more negative space on top would allow easier text placement.
