Hard time with this challenge. Had a vision of what I wanted to shoot (several ideas, really), but didn't successfully pull it off. This entry is what was left.

Post challenge answers to comment questions: the dark line against the white of the eye is a blood vessel, not a hair.

I use a fixed-lens compact camera. This is just a very close crop of a goofy looking snapshot with heavy sharpening applied.

I sure can identify with that sore eye, but it would look better in color so the redness was part of the shot.

finde the thick black line in the white of the eye distracting. Is that a blood vessel or a hair?
