 Picture taken at the top of the mountain at Big White Ski Resort with my little SD300. (don't like to ski with my D70s...to much risk for damage from shock and condensation...maybe I'm over cautious?)

Cleaned up the noisy sky with NeatImage. (SD300 VERY noisy even at ISO 50) First time using NeatImage on an entry...I'm pretty impressed at how well it worked on the sky without losing much detail in the foreground snow.

Cropped to square because there was a tree in the shot with the snow knocked off of it...that ruined the effect. And square lets me maximize the size of the picture in both dimensions.

8 - Wow, if not for that visible rock (?) a totally white world. Like the strange shape in the foreground object.

This reminds me of a Dr. Suess landscape. Maybe the Grinch? Nice job on the exposure.

That big chunck of white snow on the left is killing the picture.
