Cutting off the tips of the ears and still having so much empty space to the right make this seem ill composed to me. Beautiful dog. |

You have to love those eyes. Great job with focus and also keeping good distance from the dog to keep long snout from becoming largely distorted in the frame. I like the nice and even lighting in what appears to be a dark indoor scene otherwise. My only concern is the framing/composition. The crop in the middle of the ears can feel a bit uncomfortable, and I think if the dogs face were centered a bit more it would really take this shot to a different level. That being said it is difficult to get any dog let alone a big dog to cooperate so great shot and one I am sure you will enjoy for years to come. |
