 Rushed to get this in. Took similar images earlier with a white background but the glass was lost in it... so had to get a black back and retake it.

I noticed a number of people commented on their eye being drawn to the glass rather than the product. This is due to our natural habit of seeking out the brightest parts of an image when viewing it. Just thought I'd mentioned it :)

Mmmmm....thirsty...

You could do with a bit more DOF in this really, so you have both the bottle and the beer in focus. but it's very well done nonetheless

This is a well set up shot. I just wish the depth of field were better. the beer (particularly the head) in focus would really have sold your idea.

Nice but I'm not a fan of the shallow DOF. Think it would look better with both the bottle and glass in focus

I don't like that the glass is OOF. DoF is too shallow...

I like the tight compositions. However, my eye tends to rest on the glass, and since it is out of focus, it becomes a bit of a distraction.

The ratio of label to the rest of the photo is too little in my opinion.

I like the idea, and the beer too, but focus could be on the glass too. Close aperture next time, unless your secondary subject is further away. 5

Nice job. I'm sure what's being sold and product is presented well. However I'd do one of two thiing with the DOF. I'd have the glass of beer in focus or place it further back for a better effect.
