While dropping Taylor off at acting class I decided I wanted to take a picture of the mansion across the street. I have been eying it for a while as the tree in front gives it a spookiness about it. I tired to capture that here but it was raining so I didn't want to get out of the car with the camera. I didn't have a tripod with me so I rested the camera on the edge of the window. I think I will be going back to take more pictures on a non-rainy day.

About the only thing I like about this picture is the column on the right side of the driveway, it almost seems see through.

I like the processing you did on this, it does give a spooky feel to the mansion.

You did a good job making a non-creepy picture look creepy. And yes, that right column sure look strange.

The soft focus on the house and the dark tree definitely give this house a kind of 'haunted' feel. Too bad there isn't someone's silhouette in one of the windows!

Excellent, Amanda!! Love the processing - it is so fitting for this photo. You really gave it a spook-house look. The tree is awesome in front.

Yeh, it definetly is like the tree in poltergeist! And, why does the column look see through? That's so bizarre, almost spooky.... ;)

Yes! The archetypical scary mansion. Some overlays would work great on this.

good choice to convert to B&W, it definitely gives an eerie feeling to it. Like the blur too.

I think you've succeeded in your processing to enhance the eerie effect. The high contrast really makes that tree in the middle stand out. It reminds me of the tree in Poltergeist.
