 Part of a fence that used to surround a military camp. The camp has gone and now they are building 500 houses on it. The fence runs 'parallel' to the railway track. I was on my way back from a not too successful hunt for the challenge and saw the posts. The sky was helped with a polariser filter, did a bit of boosting contrast and cropped and that was about all.
I thought it was a decent shot when I looked at it and was pleased with a top 20 finish! Thanks for all your comments folks.

Superior title! The moss growing on the fence is interesting and unusuall. Strange camera angle here. The centered vertical orientation of the barbed wire is not ordinary compared to the usuall horizontal view. I enjoy looking at the fence this way, and makes me wonder if this picture has been turned on end. Tight little border is a nice subtle addition to the image.

how did you prevent the wire from becoming completely solid black against that bright cloud?
