I really don't know how this image is going to do. This is the first shot that I really "set up". I couldn't get the lighting right and ended up just using my 580ex as sole light source in the complete dark. The reflections were way too harsh with overhead lights on. However, this ended up a bit noisy. I'm hoping that the voters just see it as degrading the image for display on the web, but I doubt it. I hid myself and the tripod in the handle of the bowl. Unfortunately, the thing that draws my attention in this picture IS the handle. I tried my best to get the reflection in focus, as well as the mixer in focus and ended up with both being slightly out of focus.
Yes, I really like this shot, and the idea came to me when I was trying to set up a different shot. I'm usually good with ideas, but my execution isn't the best. Still learning.
I'm guessing mid 4's....if I'm lucky, I'll get into the 5's.

adjusted brightness up, shadows down, highlights up, saturation up and sharpness up. cropped just a little bit and resized. |

| Creative concept, and I'm sure this setup was tricky to shoot in a way that obscured the camera. The shot doesn't have that "pop" to make it a super high scorer, though. It's nice, but not "Wow!" |

| the composition is too crowded and i'm not sure what is all in the reflection or if it's supposed to be related to the bread making. |
