One of my all time favorite movies is Moonstruck with Cher and Nicolas Cage. I thought I'd throw in some cayene popcorn to make movie night more authentic. Is that Cosmo's moon? When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, that's amore.

I had to set up some very elaborate lighting for this shot so I hope you like it. I used the kitchen light in the ceiling, two 60 watt bulbs, and the built in flash with a white opaque plastic bag over the flash to cut down on the glare but keep a moonlight effect. lol! Yes, there is a glare on the insert but without the highly technical plastic bag, it was a washout.

Nice work! I'll have to try the cayenne popcorn.

I think this is very well shot with your lighting techniques. I too love that movie, I haven't seen it in years though. The popcorn definitely gives it a movie night feel.

It is a fun movie. The lighting is good, though the popcorn may be a little too dark for me.

That's a lot of effort! Fun concept though.

Nice concept here.
Lighting is phenomenal. Maybe the next purchase, to add to your impressive array of photographic equipment, could be a slightly more expensive and perhaps even more opaque plastic bag. lol

This is very cute - love that you went to all this trouble. The idea with plastic bag over the flash is excellent - I'll have to try it.

This is one of my favorite movies, too. Haven't seen it in years.

I haven't seen that movie... just not much time for movies. As far as the lighting, it's good to see the experimentation and it does take a while to nail it. Just a nitpick - there's a bit of reflection on DVD insert. I do like how you've presented the DVD with the popcorn to go along with it; it's presented in a way that appears special.
